Kindle - Honest Product Review

Kindle is out of stock again in 2008. But there are other places you can buy one from if you have your heart set on it. Oh and did you know that Oprah has just named Kindle as her "Favorite Thing"? She loves it.

But first, let me do a product review of Kindle Ebook Reader so you have my opinion of the device.

One downside I would say is that you can only download 200 books, but that can be fixed by buying a little memory card, then it can hold up to 4000 books.

I think the best benefit of the Kindle is that it is small and light (it weighs only 10.3 ounces) and it will hold, electronically, 200 books. Just imagine being on a trip overseas and being able to have all your newspapers, blogs, magazines and books available on this one, easy to read, lightweight device. No more carrying heavy books while traveling.

If you are a Mom, finding time to read can be so difficult, but with Kindle you can take it with you when dropping children off to school and activities, you can read while waiting for Dr's and Dentists and really start to utilize those tiny bits of extra time efficiently.

If your eyesight is not so good, Kindle allows you to adjust the text size to your own preference. No more having to hunt out large sized text books. It's great keyboard also allows you to highlight parts of the books, clip text, edit and delete and to save parts of the text for later examination or study.

Kindle works wirelessly through the 3G network, so you wont have any Wi-Fi bills to pay. When you order a book it is delivered to your Kindle in less than 1 minute. And, for those of us who are electronically challenged it's very simple to use.

Did you know you can also surf the web, send emails and pictures and email word documents.

I love the fact that Kindle allows you to download and preview the beginnings of books FREE so you can decide if the book is one you want to read. I always do this when buying a book in a bookshop and I'm sure you do too.

Oh, just in case you didn't know, Kindle is also a MP3 player and an Audio Book Reader.

The only other downside that I can see with Kindle is maybe its battery life, but if you buy a spare battery then that will be taken care of.

I would highly recommend the Kindle.
