Facts About Kindle

The Kindle is a neat little device from Amazon that is going to make the library a thing of the past. The Kindle is another name for an eReader and it can let you store a massive amount of books all on one device that can fit in the palm of your hands. So why would anybody want to purchase the Kindle?

One benefit of purchasing the Kindle is that it can save you a whole lot of space in your house. Normally you would have to put all your books on a bookshelf or in a cupboard. If you moved house you would inevitably have lots of books to package up.

None of this is of any concern when you have the Kindle. All the books that you will ever need are in digital form so you can get them all onto this device that is only the size of a standard book.

Vacations can be a time when you have to decide which books to take with you and how many you are going to need for your stay.

Another thing to think about is how many books if any you can manage to pack into your suitcase. Especially when the case is already filled with your clothes and other accessories needed for your vacation.

With the Kindle the choice of which books you take and which you leave does not really matter. The Kindle has the capacity to carry however many books you want all on this hand held device. So you will never run out of things to read.

If you need to read certain passages again or want to find certain phrases then the Kindle search option will find them for you really quickly.

Students wishing to write a paper can benefit from the Kindle allowing you to take notes while reading. So overall reading is so much easier when using the Kindle.

Three Unfortunate Misconceptions About Kindle Ebook Publishing

Take a look around you the next time you visit a quiet beach, and I'm sure you'll see that besides the men and women who have plopped themselves down with a paperback novel under the shade of an umbrella, numerous others are reading material on their Kindle. Amazon has sold millions of these devices in the last few years, to the point that mainstream consumers who aren't particularly gadget lovers are using them.

In many cases, those Kindle users are reading books that also are on sale in bookstores and available for borrowing in libraries. But did you know that thousands of authors and entrepreneurs are now earning extra money and in a few cases a very good living writing content specifically to be sold for Kindle?

I've identified three misconceptions that keep some writers and experts from pursuing this exciting new entrepreneurial opportunity.

Misconception #1: You need a Kindle ereader to get involved in publishing for Kindle.

In fact, you don't need a Kindle device either to read works published for Kindle or to publish them. Amazon provides free tools for reading Kindle ebooks on your PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or other smartphone. Amazon also provides everything you need for publishing your works for Kindle without owning a Kindle yourself.

I don't own a Kindle. I much prefer reading traditional books. However, I have painlessly published 19 ebooks for Kindle. You can, too.

Misconception #2: You need to write a full-length book to get involved in Kindle publishing.

This is also not true. Although six of my Kindle ebooks are digital versions of previously published paperback books, the other 13 are Kindle originals and only a fraction of their length. The shortest is just a little over 5,000 words. It prints out off my computer at 17 pages.

As long as you alert potential buyers to the shorter length of your compact eBook and price it accordingly, you can earn money from selling short reports on Kindle.

Misconception #3: You need to be a technical whiz to format a manuscript for publication on Kindle.

This used to be difficult. Amazon has now simplified the process by allowing properly formatted "doc" files to be uploaded for conversion to Kindle format. Amazon performs the conversion, and you can check in their online previewer to see if the Kindle version looks the way you intended it.

Now, if you can manage formatting a Word file according to easy-to-follow instructions, you can upload your work to the Kindle store without struggling with software or paying for technical help. Smashwords offers an excellent free style guide to preparing your manuscript for uploading to Amazon. Look for it in the left column of their home page.

If you enjoy writing, if you have files and files of useful content, if you have reports that are no longer selling from your website but could be easily updated, if you gave up on finding a traditional publisher for a manuscript you still love - these are all great reasons to look into Kindle publishing now. Chances are, any excuses you still have not to do it also involve misconceptions!

What's So Great About the New Kindle 3G WiFi Wireless Reading Device?

So what is so great about the new Kindle 3G from Amazon? Nothing except you can take an entire personal public library of up to 3,500 books with you in a size about the space of a business letter envelope. Add to that you personal mp3 collection, and all your personal documents stored as PDF files and you're set to go. All of this can be pass word protected for security as well. One of the coolest features about the new Kindle 3G WiFi is the ability to connect to the Internet. Browse Amazon for the latest titles for immediate download, or check out your favorite web site.. No WiFi connection? No sweat. The new 3G technology allows you to connect in 100 countries of the world by utilizing cell phone technology.

Kindle now allows you to store and listen to all your favorite music with its built in mp3 player. The new Kindle 3G WiFi Wireless Reading Device will even play background music as you read.

Too tired to read? Kindle will read to you in either a male or a female voice at your choosing.

Kindle also has loads of accessories available to spice things up for you. Choose a decorative cover to protect your Kindle. Or, give it a brand new "artsy" look with a new skin. Attachable reading lights are available so that you can read Kindle anywhere. Get a pair of high quality headphones to listen to your mp3 collection in private.

Stay ahead of the competition with a subscription to the Wall Street Journal or Time magazine, or any one of dozens of newspapers and magazines. The latest news is often available in Kindle form before the print version comes out.

Now for a couple of minor issues:

The Internet connectivity, though amazingly good is still not what you would get with your laptop computer. The screen on the Kindle 3G WiFi Reading Device is smaller of course and you may need to zoom certain things to see them clearly. Also, the flash function is not available, so playing Internet videos is out of the question at this point.

PDF files are a little small for my eyes. However, you can change the screen orientation to view them landscape which helps. You can also select your screen font size which helps even more. Just a minor irritation in my book considering all the other stuff you get. Definitely worth checking out!

If you're considering the purchase of a Kindle 3G WiFi Wireless Reading Device be sure you click the link. I have written very extensive review on it there, so read every word before you decide to buy. Be sure to check out the user reviews and the video. This should give you a very good picture of the functions and help you decide if it's right for you.

What You Need to Know About Kindle

What you need to know about a Kindle is very important. I will tell you where you can get a kindle later on in the article. I wrote this article because I love telling people about the great features this product contains.

Below Is A List Of Some Of Kindles Features:

Read in bright sunlight with no glare
New and Improved fonts have new crisper, darker fonts
New sleek design is 21 percent smaller body while keeping the same size reading area
15 percent lighter is only 8.7 ounces, weighs less than a paperback

Like some LCD screens, Kindles screen reads like real paper, with no glare. You can read as easily in bright sunlight as in your living room or anywhere in your home that you prefer. The Fonts are new and improved in which are crisper and of course darker so that your eyes don't get tired of looking at the screen. Another words, it kind of protects your eyes.

One of the features that I love is sleek design. The size of the kindle is small. It is actually 21 percent smaller than the old model and the size reading area in which is more than enough space for you to be able to read in total comfort.

Another great feature is the fact that it weighs only ounces. The weight is 8.7 ounces, it definitely weighs less than a paperback in which is very convenient. A lot of people prefer to buy paperback books over hardcover books because of the weight and bulkiness of a hardcover book. With this item you don't have to worry about that at all because you get it all in just ounces.

That's just great. Now that you have read this article, you should have an understanding of some of the features that this item contains.

What you need to know about a Kindle, you can find out about another important feature by visiting "kindle blog". Visit the Kindle Blog now for more important details.

Amazon's Big Secret About The Kindle Fire Tablet

Amazon has a secret about their newest Tablet PC: the Kindle Fire.

It has to do with the cost. No, it is not the price, it is pretty well know that this new tablet retails for $199.

The secret has to do with how much Amazon makes from the sale of each and every Amazon Fire Tablet. Amazon is raking in a huge nothing profit. Yup, you read that right. Amazon makes no money from each Kindle Tablet sale. In fact it costs them 10$ more to produce these tablets than they sell them for. So they actually lose 10 dollars each and every tablet.

Now losing 10$ a tablet may not seem much to you and me. (Although every little bit counts in these tough economic times). But when you figure that Amazon could possibly sell 10-20 million of these units, you begin to see that this could be a loss in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

But why would Amazon be content to do this with the Kindle Fire tablet?

Why would Amazon be willing to provide products for only a loss? It is simple, Amazon.com views this modern tablet a "Loss Leader". (This is a merchandise that is sold an inexpensive price, or even sells for less than it costs to make, to promote sales and profits of various other products and services).

Many of the folks who shop for Amazon Tablet PC's will want to purchase additional add-ons. They may want to get the Kindle Fire "skins", Kindle Fire stands and power converters or even the warranty.

Amazon likely make-up any sales deficits from the purchase of these add-ons. They may even turn a small profit per sale on average ...but that is not the primary point.

The real reason behind Amazon's insane decision about the Kindle Fire pricing has to do with consumption of Electronic Media. Amazon has hand crafted the Kindle Fire Tablet to give the customer the very best in media consumption. Amazon wants to give consumers good reason to buy MP3's, streaming movies, digital books and all other forms of virtual products from them.

The future of this media consumption is important to Amazon because they are betting that devices like the tablet will be essential to this media consumption.

The neat thing about this is that Amazon normally has the most affordable prices anyway as well as providing the "gold standard" of services for this content material also.

In many ways, the Kindle Fire Tablet PC and Amazon. com are creating something you can use forever. Not really only a Kindle Fire Tablet life span but your life-time. So why not consider a little bit more specifics of this innovative state of the art Amazon tablet.

Why not check a Kindle Fire out as a present for a loved one, relative...or maybe for yourself.

What You Need to Know About the Kindle Touch

The Kindle Touch is Amazon's touchscreen ereader and was released in late 2011. Like its predecessors, it comes with various configurations, each of which impacts the cost. You can purchase the ereader configured with ads, or for a little more, without ads. You also have the option of buying it with 3G connectivity or without 3G.

Features of the Kindle Touch

Let's first take a look at the features. This will help you decide if it is right for you.

Design & Display Features - The new design is one of the great new features of this ereader. The most noticeable change is that the onboard keyboard and the 5-way controller of earlier models are gone. They are replaced by an infrared interface, multi-touch screen. Consequently it is lighter and overall smaller than before. However, it maintains its generous six-inch E Ink Pearl display that makes the books really easy to read, with a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels.

Buttons and Ports - For starters, there is a "Home" button at the bottom of the Kindle, which is used to return to the home page at any time, and is very similar to previous models. In addition, there is the "Sleep/Power" switch which has an auto-off feature that puts the device to "sleep" if idle for ten minutes. There is also a micro USB port that can be used for charging the battery or document transfers. And there is a head phone jack for listening to MP3 files or Text-to-Speech enabled books.

Visual Features - There are three typefaces and eight different font sizes you can choose from. You also have the option of changing the screen orientation in four different directions plus changing the spacing between the words and the lines of text. As mentioned earlier, unlike other Kindle ereaders, the Touch has an Infrared (IR) Based touch interface instead of actual buttons.

Other key features of the Kindle Touch include the following:

4GB of storage, which holds up to 3,000 books.
Two ways to connect the Kindle Touch; Wifi and 3G.
On a full charge, the battery will last up to two months.
There are two Touches you can buy depending on connectivity feature: the Kindle 3G Wifi connectivity and the one with only the Wifi connectivity.

Options: With 3G and Without 3G

Although very similar, there are a couple differences between the Kindle 3G Wifi and non-3G models. They are briefly listed below.

Kindle Touch with 3G will allow you to connect without cost anywhere there is AT&T mobile service available. Without the 3G, you will only be able to connect where Wifi is available.
Subscriptions to periodicals (like USA Today) are available on the 3G model.
Some games can be played on the 3G version.
The 3G option is about $50 more than the model with only Wifi.
Downloads of books, magazines, etc. are a bit faster with the 3G.

The Kindle Touch is certainly not the only touchscreen ereader on the market, but for anyone considering the purchase of one of these wonderful little devices it has to be included on the "short list" of possibilities.

What Is Most Loveable About the Kindle?

With the Amazon one-click ordering service, it's possible for you to download eBooks to your device within 60 seconds, all I do is find a book that I like, click on a few icons, and within a matter of seconds I'm reading my new eBook. It's not free however, I likely would have paid anywhere from $5 to $15, for it.

With the wireless connection disabled, the battery life on the Kindle device is able to last up to 3 weeks, without requiring a recharge.

Because the Amazon Kindle device uses an e-ink display, it means more power is consumed powering up the device than keeping it running.

The experience of reading with these devices is unique. You are unlikely to experience any headaches or strains to your eyes, even after several reading sittings. It's possible for you to read from the device even in bright sunlight situations, however, because the device does not have its own light, it means you will need an alternate light source in order to read from it at night, something like a small torch light will suffice. When I'm in an area with dim lighting, I find that increasing the font size, tends to increase visibility.

My personal gripes with the device:

1. You can only purchase eBooks from Amazons bookstore, although it's now possible for you to access content from a number of other reading formats.

2. There are geographic sale rights on certain eBooks, which prohibits its sale in specific countries.

3. Because of its lightweight, it's very easy for it to slip out of your hands. The solution to this issue is to purchase a hard case for it.

I like to bring my Kindle device around with me, no matter where I go.

The Kindle makes an excellent device for travellers, those who do not have an address that is fixed. With this device, it's possible for you to carry hundreds of different books within a small gadget that can fit inside the palm of one of your hands.

Some Facts About the Amazon Kindle

The Kindle is an innovative device developed by Amazon with the sole intention of eliminating the need for your conventional library. The Kindle is one of the most popular electronic reading devices that you can use to store a large number of books on, all on a simple, small device that you can hold within the palm of your hand. So what are the reasons why you should consider purchasing a Kindle?

One of the main benefits of having a Kindle in your home is that it's capable of saving a large amount of space within your home. Normally, all your books would be inside your cupboard or on a bookshelf. If you're moving home, then it's likely that you will have a large number of books that you have to package up.

When you have a Kindle eBook reading device, none of this becomes a concern. All the books that you will ever need can be delivered to the Kindle in digital format, fitting hundreds even thousands of books into a device the size of a small book.

When it comes to vacations, it can be a time when you have to decide which books that you would like to come with you on your journey, and those that you would like to leave behind.

Another common thing that you're likely to have to think about is the amount of books that you can pack into a single suitcase, especially when you already have clothes in that case and other necessities.

When you have a Kindle device, deciding which books to bring with you and which to leave behind, no longer becomes an issue. Because of the storage capabilities of the device, it becomes possible for you to store all the books that you could possibly want into a single device. So you will have an endless list of books to read from.

Kindle 2 - What I Love and Hate About It

The Kindle 2 is the new e-book reader from Amazon. The quality of the 6" screen is pretty good and is almost identical to a real book. It does not have backlights so you won't be able to read it in the dark. The word display on the screen is pretty clear and easy on the eye. The screen also has an anti-glare surface so that you can read it easily under bright lights.

The battery life span in the Kindle 2, like its predecessor, is very impressive. With 3G and Whisper net on all the time, I was able to use it for 10 days on a single charge. The page turn button on the new model has also been improved. On the older model, the button was too large and it was quite easy to accidentally press the page turn button. In the new Kindle 2, the button has been redesigned. You would need to press the inner side (towards the screen) of the button to turn a page. This significantly reduces the number of accidental page turns.

For me, it was surprising that Amazon did not include a touch screen in this new model. About 30% of the e-book reader surface is taken up by the keyboard and controls. In reality (at least for me), I barely use the keyboard so I would much prefer a bigger screen. Nevertheless, the new keyboard looks pretty cool with its new rounded buttons and the five-way navigation control.

The Kindle Store is also another great reason for you to get the Kindle 2. The store coupled with the great connectivity allows the Kindle 2 to buy and download books, magazines and newspapers from almost anywhere in the US (download it in less than a minute). The price of the books and magazines are also much cheaper on the Kindle Store. For example, you can subscribe to your local newspaper for a month for just under $2. Many book titles that costs around $25-$35 would cost around just $10 on the Kindle store.

All You Need to Know About the Amazon Kindle

What is the Kindle?

The amazon kindle is a portable e-reader first launched in 2007.This e-reader allows you to use free wireless technology to down load books, blogs, magazines and newspapers. amazon's new electronic e-reader is approximately the size of a paperback book and has an expandable memory allowing you to travel light with your entire library. This best selling device is easy for the eyes, using the new technology called e- ink.

Is the new Future of Books Upon Us?

The amazon kindle wireless device is so popular that it has been out of stock several times.Though this e-reader is built primarily for reading books that are readily available for download via whisper.net, audio books are an attractive alternative to add to the mix. Reading the newest books available is great but sometimes it is nice to take a step back and enjoy a classic. Pages can be dog-eared, notes can be added, text can be highlighted and searches can be performed on your books. This kindle even remembers the last page you read in each book and shows you graphically how far along you are in your books with a built in meter. There is a large and ever growing number of books available for the kindle which now sits at over 300,000.

Oprah's Favorite

Oprah Winfrey featured the amazon kindle on her October 24, 2008 show and stated that the amazon kindle is her new favorite gadget. In many ways amazon's brightest star is the ultimate e- book reader, but to see just how far that statement holds true, you will just have to give it a try for yourself. If you travel semi-regularly and typically carry a large stack of books with you, then hands down the kindle is a no- brainer. The amazon kindle is leading the way into electronic reading with over 200,000 items that can be purchased.  Probably the coolest thing about the amazon kindle is that it comes with free wireless internet and you can down load from tens of thousands of books, magazines and newspapers and read them on an unreal liquid paper display. What I Like and Do Not Like About the Kindle 2.0

First, let's explain what Kindle 2.0 is all about. This is an e-book reader, meaning it's a device to read electronic books from. The screen is actually quite nice and very easy to read from. I tried reading side-by-side with the Kindle and a standard book and only notice little to no difference. So reading is very easy on the eye, with its non-reflective screen.

On the battery life, at full charge and with Whispernet's 3G wireless on, I manage to get 10 days of battery life on the Kindle 2.0, which was pretty amazing. Hats off to the engineers who put this together because it's fantastic.

Some of the issues that people had with the first Amazon Kindle was that the next page button was too large. So it's easy for someone to accidentally hit the next page button. This problem has been fixed in the Kindle 2.0. You can't accidentally click the next page button anymore because it's positioned in such a way now that you need to intentionally click inside the button to turn the page. Kindle 2.0 also now comes with a new 5-way navigational pad. You can scroll up, down, left, right, and push it in for the fifth button.

The screen is ample for comfortable reading, although the one complain I would have is the Kindle 2.0 not having touch screen capabilities. The full QWERTY keyboard takes up a lot of space. Although it's very helpful when you're searching for text, you spend most of your time reading and not searching. So, to be able to fully utilize the real estate on the Kindle device here would have been nice with the touch screen capabilities.

These will be in formats such as plain text, PDF or even Jpeg images. Along with this, is a new and revolutionary way to connect to the books that you are reading.

Since Kindle often mis-spelled as Kindell or Kindel is also known for it's concepts as a digital reader, it becomes important to keep connected. What is So Good About Amazon Kindle 2 Wireless Reading Device?

When the book retailer Amazon first came on the scene, it introduced the online bookstore to us. This time round, it has taken that move one step further by offering its merchandise in electronic form. All this is done through a new wireless reading device called the Amazon Kindle. The stage is now set for complete electronic reading if you choose; yes, e-books electronically procured and read with an electronic reader.

The Kindle electronic reader is engineered to download blogs, books, newspapers, and magazines. Periodicals are automatically sent to the device. Technology has afforded us with a very practical alternative to holding a book, magazine or other reading material and turning from one page to another. The Amazon Kindle is indeed powerful and is only surpassed by its successor the Kindle 2.

The Kindle electronic reader is designed to operate on its own. It is connected directly to the Amazon Whispernet through 3G technology for media flow, synching and even internet browsing. There's no service plan, contracts or bills to worry about because this feature is paid for by Amazon. About the only cost upon the user is power consumption on the battery; recharging every 4 to 5 days of continuous operation as opposed to 2 weeks with the wireless turned off.

Whispernet is Kindle's dedicated wireless network. It carries the delivery system of its e-books and other reading materials. The service is practically instant. Within a minute of placing order, users can be reading away. The first few pages of the books are also available for sampling before deciding to buy. This wireless feature is currently not available outside the country but it shouldn't be for long as the Kindle is meant for traveling.

The best thing about this wireless reader is its crisp black-and-white paper-like display. For an electronic screen, it's very easy on the eyes especially for those who read for long periods. The display is based on the Vizplex version of E-ink technology with no backlighting. Reading is thus 100% natural in bright sunlight and you won't have a problem with the screen getting too hot from reading too long either.

Furthermore, Whispernet makes use of Amazon's optimized technology plus Sprint's national high-speed (EVDO) data network for users to wirelessly search, download, synch and read content. The maiden Kindle has been further enhanced into the Kindle 2. By seriously considering user feedback on the original Kindle, Amazon is gratefully able to come up with an even more impressive wireless reading device for its readers now.

It's not surprising that the Amazon Kindle 2 is generally rated as the top Wireless Reading Device. We have the hard facts to show why.

Those who view the 6" screen on the completely new light-weight and sleek Kindle the very first time do a double take. Why? For the reason that display truly does appear to be paper. The Kindle utilizes the most recent technology, known as "Pearl", creating the finest reading experience possible with 50% more effective contrast as well as the sharpest text.

Have you been not wanting to let go of reading conventional paper books, periodicals and newsprint? Then think about the following advantages provided by the Kindle: No eyestrain, no glare (even in brilliant sunshine) and you may read when it is bedtime without impacting your sleeping, as opposed to other products which have glowing back-lit displays. The Kindle enables you to save as much as 3500 books and chances are you'll make use of the built-in WiFi to acquire an ebook in one minute. Select from the 850,000 titles for sale in the Kindle Store where over 610,000 are $9.99 or less. The new Kindle has the benefit of lengthier battery life (plus it never becomes hot).

Pros:

The consumer evaluations emphasize numerous fantastic advantages of the Kindle which might make an impression on even the most cynical conventional book fans. For instance a consumer declared that they of late downloaded fifty publications from Amazon, and every one of them was totally free. You'll be able to discover timeless classics along with other scarce publications which are often nearly impossible to find in your local library as well as stores.

The display screen gets brilliant critiques by customers; it makes reading effortless and enjoyable regardless of what the amount of light is. Aside from the appearance of the display screen, consumers highly valued the really quick page refresh speed.

Customers observe that the battery time is undoubtedly much longer (considerably lengthier compared to Nook, actually quite a few testimonials indicate that the Kindle outperforms the Nook in many aspects)

The WiFi functionality is referred to in the evaluations as faultless.

Clients who purchased preceding Kindle versions are pleased with many of the improvements made to the latest product. Such as its scaled-down thinner dimensions (rendering it convenient to carry inside a pocket for instance), the "collections" function (that for instance enables several books by the same writer to be kept with each other), plus some of the control keys etc were modified to help make working with the unit simpler.

Furthermore, if you're somebody that tends to make a lot of notes and highlights, the Kindle includes a separate location, outside the individual publications, where one can gain access to all of ones notes and highlights.

Cons:

Based on numerous assessments this Kindle has a tendency to crash (and that means you will need to reboot) and often the unit may reboot randomly. Numerous consumers have claimed that the Kindle may not restart from stand by, and that other occurrences of the device getting stuck are recurrent. Other people state that they've encountered issues waking, restarting, as well as switching off the unit, as well as saving the last page read. It was mentioned by several users that in spite of getting a replacement unit as well as installing the most recent software, the issues continue.

Several clients make a complaint how the Kindle is completely dependent upon the e-books offered by Amazon, which in turn appear to be littered with errors. Of such publications, many typing errors, misspelled words, formatting mistakes, etc. are typical, and many do not include covers, chapters, or page-breaks.

The navigation in between different places in the material (for instance in a reference work) has been termed very basic.

A lot of users state that the letters start to rub off the keys very quickly..

The Kindle wireless reading device takes paperless reading to an entirely new level. Now you can enjoy reading as if from paper, any choice of your favorite material. It is light and small (but has a 6" screen) so you may enjoy even the heaviest books on the go, no matter what the lighting conditions.

The Kindle allows you to enjoy reading e-books at a totally different level. It will appear as though you are looking at paper and ink, even in bright sunlight. This light slim and little device will enable you to enjoy reading even the heaviest hardback, and you'll soon forget that you are even reading from an E-reader.

Everyone Is Getting Or Has the Kindle Fire (What Is All the Excitement About the Kindle Anyway)?

The "Kindle Fire" is all the rave these days. It seems everywhere we go that everyone has a "Kindle". It is convenient that is for sure, but is it practical? The Laptop is probably better when it comes to computing, but it is not as easy to carry around as the little hand-held device called the "Kindle Fire".

For those who do a lot of writing the Laptop computer is probably far better. The keys are much larger and will fit your fingers much better. Also, you have a larger screen to stare at, then you do with the small hand-held devices. Yes, we prefer the Laptop for most applications.

But for those who are constantly on the go and they need the ability to check messages on the fly, surf the web, play games, read and otherwise occupy themselves while waiting in the airport this little hand-held device called the "Kindle Fire" just may be the ideal way to go.

The "Kindle Fire" is compact enough to carry in your pocket or pulse. You can literally take it anywhere you happen to be going. Not so with your Laptop computer. Sometimes the Laptop computer can be a real burden when you are going someplace and it is hard to fit in your pocket or pulse.

Of course, if you are a person who likes to do a lot of reading you may want to get the "Kindle Fire" and the "Reader" together and save a little money. The great thing about the "Kindle" and "Reader" is they cut down on the suns-glare. It is really annoying when you are trying to read and the sun, if you are not positioned right will cause a glare and actually hurt your eyes. Is this not annoying to you? It is to most of us!

We have found that the price for the "Kindle Fire" and the "Reader" together just may be worth the difference over getting another Laptop computer, especially if you do a lot of traveling. And who does not do a lot of traveling these days?

For just under $200 you can have your very own "Kindle and Reader" when you buy them together as a package deal. Now, no one knows just how long these prices will last, so the sooner we get to the "Kindle Store" and pick yours up the better.

Of course, keep in mind that not everyone needs a "Kindle Fire" or a "Reader", but if you are out and about a lot you may want to consider getting yours for the added convenience that it will fit in your pocket or pulse and carries well that way. After all when was the last time you were able to carry your Laptop in your pocket or pulse?

Just remember this, the "Kindle Fire" is probably the best technology to come along in years and we believe it is the best thing since "white bread." Why not check it out and see if it will work for you? What a world we live in with all the great inventions that have come along within the past few years.

All About the New Kid on the Tablet Market: The Amazon Kindle Fire

The new Amazon tablet called Kindle Fire has been launched by Amazon at the end of September 2011. Amazon already sold over 90.000 devices on the first day.

In this article we are going to give you the most important details about this new gadget, that really looks like it will stir up the tablet market.

The Fire is a tablet e-reader with internet and email capability. It is expected that it will be very popular because it has features that are not available on any other mobile device.

The major new feature that will appear on the Kindle Fire is the new web browser, Amazon Silk. Amazon Silk is much faster than browsers which are normally available on mobile devices. It is even faster than many desktop browsers. The secret of its speed consists of a split-architecture browser, which means the work of loading web pages is split between processes run on the browser itself and processes run remotely by Amazon's servers.

To speed up web browsing even more, the Amazon servers observe the viewing patterns of the Kindle Fire users. They use this information to predict what page a user will request next, and pre-load that page before the user even requests it.

The new Kindle also has a very fast dual-core processor which can perform more than one task at a time, so you can download videos while reading an e-book. It weighs less than one pound, so it is easy to carry anywhere.

The size of the brilliant color touch screen is 7" on the diagonal. The new Amazon tablet has built-in WiFi connectivity, so you can connect to the internet from any WiFi hotspot.

The Kindle was originally developed by Amazon as an e-reader, a device on which you can view electronic media. Electronic media such as e-books, videos, newspapers, magazines, and music can be purchased online from Amazon.com and downloaded almost instantly to the Kindle.

It is ideal for people who want to access this type of media without having to purchase the hard copies. The digital media is also often less expensive than the actual books, videos, magazines, and newspapers.

Kindle Fire owners also have access to many games and apps developed exclusively for this device.

Reports say, that Amazon will actually lose $10 on each of the Fire devices they sell, but they are taking this risk in hopes of promoting their digital content.

Because of the new features the Kindle Fire offers such as Amazon Silk, it is expected that the Kindle Fire will be a rival for the Apple iPad and other tablet computers. It weighs only two-thirds of an Apple iPad weight, and at US$199, it is less than one-third of the price of the cheapest Apple iPad.

The Kindle Fire has all the features of the original Kindle, plus many new features and a color touch screen. It features an inbound only @kindle email address which accepts email from pre-approved addresses. This feature allows you to send documents to your Kindle from a Computer.

Another new feature that the new Amazon tablet offers, is a brilliant color display with more PPI (pixel per inch) than the iPad. The Fire tablet has one USB port and a 3.5 mm stereo audio jack. It is powered by a heavily customized version of the Google Android operating system. It is actually so much customized, that you won't even notice any similarity.

Looking at the Kindle Fire and it's features, you will notice that it can do most things the Apple iPad can do too, but the Kindle Fire costs less than half, what the cheapest iPad costs. Watch a hands-on video of the Kindle Fire in the following Kindle Fire Review or browse through a selection of the Top 5 Kindle Fire Accessories.
