I rate the Kindle DX a 4 out of 5 stars and strongly recommend it for any avid bookworm or traveller. I really get great use out of the device.

For me the extra screen space, the extra memory, the week-long batter life, and the global wireless service that allows you to down load content from almost anywhere complimentary is worth the even more investment.

But I understand this might not be the case for everybody. Which leads me to my biggest snag with the Kindle DX...the cost.

I would have preferred $350 as a substitute of the $489 price tag. $230 difference is huge. But formerly again - used for me it was worth it.
